My Focus

This video shows a few ways technology helps learners. Keep this in mind as you read through my website!

We face challenges everyday, students learning a language even more so. As teachers, we need to be aware of the struggles our ELL students and students with language disabilities face so we can better include and cater to them.

There is a lot of research on how we can use technology to assist students with language barriers. Technology can also be a burden for students who are learning to use it and speak English. We need to learn about this to be better teachers and have more information on how to help our students.
